Lake Chalet is really upping the ante with the addition of palm trees (still tied together at the top) on their dock this week. Now known for their popular Taco Tuesdays and Crab Fridays, they've also added...

• Happy Hour: Wednesday - Sunday from 3p - 6p
• Dockside Grill: Wednesday - Sunday from 12p to close
• Sunday Brunch: $30/$35 reservations required

For the most part, I've heard great comments about Lake Chalet. Sure, they've missed a beat here and there with service and food temperature, but overall they're a HUGE addition to the Oakland, no Bay Area, bar and restaurant scene.

Now, can we get those outdoor heaters and live music please?
